Question 1 of 12 · Tracking

Is conversion tracking set up and recording your real leads or sales, not just page views?

Without it, Google Ads cannot tell a customer from a visitor.

Quick answer

How do you check if a Google Ads account is healthy?

Check six areas: conversion tracking, campaign structure, keywords, ads, landing pages, and bidding and budget. A healthy account tracks real leads and sales, splits campaigns by service, removes wasted searches every month, tests its ads, sends clicks to matching pages and bids for conversions.

Google Ads
Do I need to log in or connect my Google Ads account?

No. The health check never touches your account. You answer from what you know, and the score is worked out in your browser.

How is the score calculated?

Each "Yes" scores one point. "No" and "Not sure" score zero, because not knowing is a warning sign in itself. The six areas have two questions each.

Why is tracking shown first when it scores low?

Without reliable conversion tracking you cannot judge keywords, ads, landing pages or bidding, so it has to be fixed before anything else.

What is the most common Google Ads problem?

Missing or unreliable conversion tracking. When calls, forms and sales are not recorded, the account cannot be optimized toward customers.

How often should I review my Google Ads account?

Check search terms and budgets weekly, and review structure, ads and landing pages at least once a month.
