Quick answer

How do I check if conversion tracking is working?

Complete a test conversion on your site, such as a form submission, and confirm it appears in GA4 DebugView, Google Tag Assistant or the Meta Events Manager test tool. This checker is the first step: it shows which tags load on a page, so you can spot a missing GA4, Google Ads or Meta Pixel tag before you test a real conversion.

How it works

Three steps, no sign-up

  1. 01

    Enter a page URL

Use your home page or, better, the landing page your ads send traffic to.

  2. 02

    We scan the page

Our server loads the page like a browser would and looks for the tags and IDs in its code.

  3. 03

    Review the report

See what was found, the IDs, and what may be missing or duplicated.

Tracking & Analytics
Does this prove my conversions are tracked correctly?

No. It shows which tags load on the page. Whether conversions fire on the right action, with the right value and without duplicates needs a test inside Tag Manager, GA4 and your ad platforms, which is part of our free audit.

Why does it say a tag is missing when I know it is installed?

Some setups only load tags after cookie consent or through a server-side container. The checker sees the page before anyone accepts cookies, so consent-gated tags can be hidden from it.

What is Google Consent Mode v2?

A way for your cookie banner to tell Google tags what a visitor agreed to. It is required for EU and UK traffic if you use Google Ads remarketing and measurement.

What is the difference between GA4 and Google Ads conversion tracking?

GA4 measures what visitors do on your site across all channels. Google Ads conversion tracking tells Google Ads which clicks led to a lead or sale, so it can optimize bidding. Most businesses need both, counting the same actions.

Do I need server-side tracking?

Not always. It helps most when you spend a lot on ads or lose data to ad blockers and browser limits. For smaller accounts, a clean Google Tag Manager setup with enhanced conversions is usually enough to start.
